Ideas For Contents Page.

This is my first idea of my Contents page. My first intial design came from the idea of NME magazine with a few images to make the page look interesting. There are captions under or above the pictures and page numbers so you can find the articles quick and easy. The contents is very simple to read and easily laded out. The number fonts are bigger than the title of the artical becuase it makes the page look alot more fun. I put a pug in the middle of the page to draw the readers attention to the compotion.
I put the editorial at the top because this is what most magazine do plus it gives the reader an idea of what the issue is portraying for this week or month.
At the very top i drew a strip that has just the magazines name so that again it could remind the reader the magazine that they are buying and also the logo.

For my second idea i used the same componets but just moved things around and removed the pug. I really like the way the conets is easy to read and simple to find what your looking for. I put the pictures down the side nearly next to where the contents says the artical page. By doing this the reader's attention is drawn to the picture then next to it is the page number so it will be alot easyer to find.

I decied to put the editoral at the bottom right hand conor and also this time put a picture of the editor there aswell. By puttin in the conor you have more space to write in the contents and also more space for the pictures.

For my third contents page i decied to make the page look fun by placing the photos in diffrent places over the pages and also putting a big pug the pictures. The contents is very simple. Its not on the drawing but i wanted the contents number and names to be a stright line down the middle with everyhtink around it and the Editoral at the bottom. Also there are no captions on the photo's except the main artical about Lady GaGa. I dont like this contents as its not very informative and is also a little messy. Out of all the contents pages i really like the second one as its eye catching and fun but also informative and also sophisticated.
